Whether you have a student with us or you are a prospective family, welcome to Academia Moderna!

I have been with Alta Public Schools for nearly 10 years now and I am deeply invested in this school and the students. I believe that if we (Administration, teachers, students, and families) work together, we can support your student and address the whole child’s growth.

Our mission at Academia Moderna is to “... provide a world-class education to every student through an inquiry and investigation school model that will prepare students to meet the challenges of a global 21st century.” Our community of teachers and staff are dedicated to supporting your student to grow as not only a scholar, but an individual ready for the world’s challenges.

As an International Baccalaureate (IB) school, we strive to create a classroom that fosters inquiry and expression. Our staff supports your student by using many IB components, such as the IB Learner Profile Attributes, to develop worldly scholars. IB instills international mindedness where connections are made from what we see around us now, to what is happening around the world.

Together, we will work to create an environment where students can grow into worldly citizens ready to embark on their journey through life.
